Service & Delivery Policy

At GTA Marble Studio, we provide custom decorative wall finishes and surface finishing services for residential, commercial, and design projects in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas.

Our services include Venetian plaster, Marmorino, microcement, limewash, decorative plaster, feature walls, fireplace finishes, and other custom decorative surface finishes.

This Service & Delivery Policy explains how our services are provided, how project scheduling works, and how physical samples or project-related materials may be delivered when applicable.

1. Service-Based Business

GTA Marble Studio is a service-based decorative finishing company. We do not operate as a standard online retail store for ready-made products.

Most of our work is completed through custom on-site installation at the client’s property, project location, commercial space, or construction site.

Because our services are custom and site-specific, delivery does not usually mean shipping a finished product. Instead, our service is delivered through consultation, project planning, material preparation, and professional installation.

2. Service Area

GTA Marble Studio provides services in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas, including but not limited to:

  • Toronto

  • Mississauga

  • Oakville

  • Burlington

  • Vaughan

  • Richmond Hill

  • Markham

  • Etobicoke

  • North York

  • Milton

  • Other nearby areas by request

Projects outside our regular service area may be accepted depending on availability, project size, schedule, and travel requirements.

Additional travel or service charges may apply for projects outside our standard service area.

3. Consultation and Quote Process

Before starting a project, GTA Marble Studio may review project details through photos, measurements, phone calls, emails, video calls, or an in-person consultation.

To provide an accurate quote, we may ask for:

  • Project address or location;

  • Photos or videos of the wall or surface;

  • Approximate measurements;

  • Type of finish requested;

  • Colour or texture preference;

  • Surface condition;

  • Timeline or preferred installation date;

  • Any special project requirements.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of review. Final pricing may change if the project scope, surface condition, measurements, preparation requirements, or selected finish changes.

4. Project Scheduling

Project dates are scheduled after the estimate is approved and any required deposit is received.

Scheduling depends on:

  • GTA Marble Studio availability;

  • Material availability;

  • Client approval;

  • Site readiness;

  • Surface preparation requirements;

  • Drying and curing time;

  • Access to the project area;

  • Coordination with other trades or contractors.

We make reasonable efforts to complete each project within the estimated timeline. However, project timelines may change due to site conditions, material delays, weather, humidity, client-requested changes, or other circumstances outside our control.

5. On-Site Service Delivery

Most GTA Marble Studio services are delivered on-site at the client’s home, business, project location, or construction site.

On-site service may include:

  • Surface inspection;

  • Surface preparation;

  • Priming;

  • Base coat application;

  • Decorative finish application;

  • Sealing or protective coating when applicable;

  • Touch-ups or finishing details;

  • Final review with the client.

The client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area, including electricity, water, ventilation, parking, and a clean workspace when required.

6. Physical Samples and Sample Boards

GTA Marble Studio may provide physical samples or sample boards when available or requested.

Samples may be:

  • Picked up by the client;

  • Delivered locally by GTA Marble Studio when available;

  • Sent by courier or shipping service if agreed in writing;

  • Prepared as custom sample boards for a specific finish, colour, or texture.

Sample availability, delivery method, timing, and any related cost will be confirmed before the sample is prepared or sent.

Custom samples and sample boards are made specifically for the client’s selected finish and may be non-refundable once prepared, delivered, shipped, or approved. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for more information.

7. Delivery of Materials

For installation projects, materials are usually brought to the project location by GTA Marble Studio or arranged as part of the project preparation.

Clients are not usually required to arrange material delivery unless this is specifically agreed in writing.

Material delivery, handling, storage, and access requirements may depend on the project size, product type, building access, parking, elevator availability, and site conditions.

8. Shipping Policy

GTA Marble Studio does not usually ship finished custom decorative wall finishes because our main services are installed directly on the client’s wall, fireplace, ceiling, feature area, or surface.

If physical samples, sample boards, or other project-related materials are shipped, the shipping cost, delivery timeline, courier method, and delivery responsibility will be confirmed before shipment.

Shipping timelines may vary depending on:

  • Courier availability;

  • Delivery location;

  • Weather;

  • Holidays;

  • Material preparation time;

  • Custom sample production time;

  • Circumstances outside our control.

GTA Marble Studio is not responsible for courier delays after a shipped item has been handed to the delivery provider, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist with tracking or delivery concerns when possible.

9. Delivery Issues for Shipped Items

If a physical sample or project-related item is shipped and arrives damaged, missing, or incorrect, please contact GTA Marble Studio within 5 calendar days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your name;

  • Phone number;

  • Delivery address;

  • Photos of the damaged item or package;

  • A short description of the issue.

We will review the concern and determine whether a replacement, repair, refund, or other solution is appropriate.

10. Client Responsibilities

To avoid delays, the client is responsible for making sure the project area is ready before the scheduled service date.

This may include:

  • Removing furniture, artwork, electronics, and personal items from the work area;

  • Providing access to the property and workspace;

  • Confirming building rules, elevator access, loading areas, and parking if applicable;

  • Informing us of any moisture, leaks, cracks, mold, structural issues, or surface damage;

  • Ensuring other trades do not interfere with or damage the work area;

  • Confirming the approved colour, texture, finish, and scope of work before installation begins.

If the site is not ready, the project may be delayed and additional charges may apply.

11. Service Delays

GTA Marble Studio will make reasonable efforts to complete projects on schedule. However, delays may occur due to:

  • Material availability;

  • Weather or humidity;

  • Drying or curing time;

  • Site access problems;

  • Unready or damaged surfaces;

  • Client-requested changes;

  • Delays caused by other trades or contractors;

  • Building restrictions;

  • Safety concerns;

  • Events outside our control.

If a delay occurs, we will communicate with the client and work to reschedule or adjust the project timeline when possible.

12. Cancellations, Refunds, and Returns

Because GTA Marble Studio provides custom decorative finishing services, cancellations, refunds, deposits, custom samples, installed finishes, and workmanship concerns are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Installed custom finishes cannot be returned like standard retail products. If there is a confirmed workmanship concern, GTA Marble Studio may repair, correct, or touch up the affected area depending on the situation.
