These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of our website and to the services provided by GTA Marble Studio, including decorative wall finishes, Venetian plaster, Marmorino, microcement, limewash, decorative plaster, feature walls, fireplace finishes, and related custom surface finishing services.
By using our website, requesting a quote, booking a consultation, approving an estimate, paying a deposit, or hiring GTA Marble Studio for a project, you agree to the Terms & Conditions below.
1. About GTA Marble Studio
GTA Marble Studio provides custom decorative wall finishes and surface finishing services for residential, commercial, and design-related projects in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas.
Our services may include:

Each project is customized based on the client’s space, surface condition, design direction, selected material, colour, texture, and approved estimate.
2. Website Information
The information on our website is provided for general informational and marketing purposes. We do our best to keep all service descriptions, images, pricing information, and project details accurate and up to date.
However, decorative finishes are custom services, and final pricing, timing, material requirements, and installation details may vary depending on:

Images shown on our website or social media are examples of previous work, samples, or design inspiration. Final results may vary because decorative finishes are hand-applied and customized for each project.
3. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates provided by GTA Marble Studio are based on the information available at the time of review.
A quote may be based on photos, measurements, site visits, client descriptions, or project drawings. Final pricing may change if the actual site condition, square footage, surface preparation, or project scope is different from the original information provided.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes and estimates may be subject to change if:

The project scope changes;

Additional preparation is required;

The wall or surface condition is different than expected;

Additional coats, colours, materials, or repairs are required;
-
The client requests design, colour, or schedule changes;
-
Access to the project area is delayed or restricted.
A project is not confirmed until the estimate is approved and any required deposit is received.
4. Deposits and Payments
GTA Marble Studio may require a deposit before scheduling a project, ordering materials, preparing samples, reserving labour, or starting any work.
Payment terms will be provided on the estimate, invoice, or written agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client is responsible for paying all approved project costs according to the payment schedule provided.
Late payments may delay the project schedule or final completion. GTA Marble Studio reserves the right to pause work until outstanding payments are received.
Deposits, cancellations, refunds, and workmanship concerns are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Project Scheduling
Project dates are scheduled based on availability, material requirements, site readiness, and client approval.
GTA Marble Studio will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline. However, project dates and completion times may change due to:

Material availability;

Weather or humidity conditions;

Surface drying or curing time;
-
Site access issues;
-
Client-requested changes;
-
Unexpected wall or surface conditions;
-
Delays caused by other trades or contractors;
-
Events outside our control.
Estimated timelines are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate project information and making sure the work area is ready before the scheduled project date.
Client responsibilities may include:

Providing correct measurements, photos, or project details;
-
Confirming the selected finish, colour, texture, and scope of work;

Giving access to the property and work area;
-
Removing furniture, personal items, fragile items, or valuables from the work area;
-
Ensuring electricity, water, ventilation, parking, and workspace access are available when required;
-
Informing GTA Marble Studio of any known moisture, leaks, structural issues, or previous wall damage;
-
Ensuring other trades do not damage or interfere with the completed finish.
If the work area is not ready, the project may be delayed and additional charges may apply.
7. Surface Conditions
Decorative finishes depend heavily on the condition of the wall or surface.
GTA Marble Studio is not responsible for problems caused by hidden or pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Moisture or water damage;

Leaks;
-
Mold;
-
Cracks;
-
Structural movement;
-
Poor previous paint or coating adhesion;
-
Uneven drywall or plaster;
-
Poor surface preparation completed by others;
-
Damage caused by other trades or contractors.
If additional preparation, repair, priming, levelling, or surface correction is required, extra charges may apply.
8. Colour, Texture, and Finish Variation
Decorative finishes such as Venetian plaster, Marmorino, microcement, limewash, and decorative plaster are hand-applied finishes. Natural variation is part of the final look.
The client understands and accepts that there may be variation in:

Colour tone;
-
Texture;
-
Movement;
-
Trowel marks;
-
Sheen;
-
Depth;
-
Shade;
-
Pattern;
-
Finish character.
Samples, photos, videos, and showroom examples are used as guides only. They may not match the final installed finish exactly because lighting, wall condition, material batches, application method, and surface size can affect the final appearance.
Natural variation in a hand-applied finish is not considered a defect.
9. Client Approval and Changes
Before work begins, the client may be asked to approve the selected finish, colour, texture, sample, estimate, or project scope.
Once the client approves the project details, any changes may affect the price, schedule, materials, and completion timeline.
Change requests may include:

Changing the finish type;
-
Changing the colour;
-
Changing the texture;
-
Adding more walls or areas;
-
Changing the square footage;
-
Requesting additional coats;
-
Requesting extra preparation or repair work;
-
Changing the schedule after labour has been reserved.
Additional charges may apply for approved changes.
10. Workmanship and Touch-Ups
GTA Marble Studio aims to provide high-quality workmanship and professional installation.
If the client believes there is a workmanship issue, the client must contact GTA Marble Studio within 14 calendar days of project completion and provide photos, videos, and a description of the concern.
If GTA Marble Studio confirms that the issue is related to our workmanship, we may repair, correct, or touch up the affected area, depending on the situation.
GTA Marble Studio is not responsible for damage or issues caused by:

Moisture, leaks, humidity, or water damage;

Structural movement or cracking;
-
Damage caused by other trades or contractors;
-
Damage caused by furniture, impact, cleaning products, tape, chemicals, or misuse;
-
Client-requested changes after approval;
-
Normal colour, texture, or sheen variation;
-
Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions.
11. Care and Maintenance
Some decorative finishes require proper care after installation. The client is responsible for following any care and maintenance instructions provided by GTA Marble Studio.
The client should avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning tools, excessive water, strong tape, or products that may damage the finish.
Damage caused by improper cleaning, misuse, impact, moisture, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered by GTA Marble Studio.
12. Photos and Portfolio Use
GTA Marble Studio may take photos or videos of completed work for documentation, marketing, website, social media, advertising, and portfolio purposes.
We will not intentionally publish private personal information without permission. If a client does not want their project photographed or used for marketing, they should notify GTA Marble Studio in writing before the project begins.
13. Third-Party Products, Trades, and Materials
GTA Marble Studio may use professional materials, tools, primers, coatings, sealers, and other products from third-party manufacturers.
We are not responsible for delays, defects, discontinued products, manufacturer shortages, or issues caused by materials, surfaces, or work supplied by others.
If other contractors, trades, designers, builders, or suppliers are involved in the project, GTA Marble Studio is not responsible for their work, delays, damages, or decisions.
14. Website Links and Third-Party Content
Our website may include links to third-party websites, platforms, social media pages, or external services. These links are provided for convenience only.
GTA Marble Studio is not responsible for the content, policies, security, or practices of third-party websites or platforms.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTA Marble Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to the use of our website or services.
Our total liability for any approved claim related to a project will not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service related to that claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, deposits, refunds, custom samples, installed finishes, and workmanship concerns are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Clients are encouraged to review the Refund & Cancellation Policy before approving a quote, paying a deposit, or scheduling a project.
17. Privacy
Use of our website and services may involve the collection of personal information such as name, phone number, email address, project address, and project details.

18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
Any dispute related to these Terms & Conditions, our website, or our services will be handled according to the applicable laws of Ontario, Canada.
